During a recent sit-down with VladTV, Raheem DeVaughn touched on his former beef with fellow R&B singer Lyfe Jennings, saying they squashed their differences and are on good terms now.
If you recall back in 2013, Lyfe Jennings, borrowed from Kendrick Lamar on his new song "ABC's," calling out his own group of competition: Anthony Hamilton, Music Soulchild, Jaheim, Kem and Raheem DeVaughn.
Apparently, Raheem DeVaughn wasn't happy about the namecheck, and the whole thing spilled out on Twitter. Jennings took a bunch of not-so-subliminal shots, calling the self-appointed "Love King" a "soft a-- n---a," among others things. "This particular r&b artist dont wanna ride in the same car wit me cause hes in my r&b challange smh. Did I not say cats I respect??? #lame," he tweeted.
DeVaughn even threatened to unleash his "shooters," Jennings wrote, which didn't pump much fear into the Ohio native. "Ok so Raheem Devaughn just told me he dont like me mentioning his name and he got shooters that love him..wtf does that mean lil n---a???," he tweeted. "My response was (excuse my french) 'f--k you and yo shooters soft a-- n---a.'"
Here's what Raheem had to say about that now...
