Memphis Rapper Gets Arrested but wait...Dont He Look Familiar? Shy Glizzy's Chain Thief

Sources are reporting that a Memphis rapper went to court today after being arrested Saturday during a drug bust. Bradley Rankin (not sure what his rap name is) was arrested during the bust at a home in Southeast Memphis.

Police said Rankin, who is a member of the group the Concrete Cartel, had 42 ecstasy pills and $5,000 in cash on him at the time of his arrest. Rankin had multiple warrants out for his arrest.

He was wanted in Rutherford County for felony possession of marijuana, felony possession of a Schedule IV drug, possession of felony narcotic in a school zone, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, possession of drug paraphernalia and alteration of serial number.

Detectives saw Rankin trying to leave the location on Irene Boulevard, and they surrounded his vehicle.

He also had several active warrants for drug and weapons charges in Rutherford County.

He has been placed on $100,000 bond.

Rankin’s unknown rap group received some attention after rapper Shy Glizzy had his chain stolen in Memphis. Despite all the evidence provided and confessions of the crime via social media Police have not made any arrests in that incident.

ForeverMeah says... meanwhile, a new diss tack came out today against Glizzy from the alleged chain snatcher... I'm not giving this story any more shine. That's @iamakademiks job. #DCorNothing
