DC 'Catfish Reality Show' Star Pleads Guilty in Metro Threats

The Catfish Reality Show Star has pleaded guilty in federal court to calling in threats against Metro stations, buses and trains in the nation's capital.

Jerez Nehemiah Coleman pleaded guilty Friday to making threats involving explosive materials. Coleman, who is to be sentenced Feb. 26, faces up to 10 years in prison, but the plea, which is subject to court approval, calls for up to 27 months sources has reported.

Back in May, I reported that he phoned in false bomb and hostage threats approximately 11 times. Each incident resulted in an emergency response and some led to disruptions in transit service.

Police used cell phone records, video surveillance and telephone audio to identify the suspect. In return for his guilty plea, the other charges will be dismissed.

According to a statement he signed, Coleman placed more than 300 calls to 911 from December 2014 to May 2015.

Coleman, also known as Jerez Nehemiah Stone-Coleman and "Kidd Cole," was once exposed on MTV's "Catfish" reality show about online scams.

DC 'Catfish Reality Show' Star Charged with Terror Threats Against Metro

DC Fox 5 News reported that Metro Transit Police has arrested Jerez Nehemiah Stone-Coleman, a.k.a Kidd Cole, on charges of making terror threats against Metro stations, buses and trains.

Jerez was arrested Wednesday morning at his home in the 1600 block of Fort Davis Place, SE.

Investigators say Stone-Coleman phoned in false bomb and hostage threats approximately 11 times. Each incident resulted in an emergency response and some led to disruptions in transit service.

Police used cell phone records, video surveillance and telephone audio to identify the suspect. He is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday (5/28).

Police released the following details about some of the threats:

On January 22, 2015, the caller stated that he and his friends were planning to take hostages on Metrobus 6149 and that they would kill the hostages if they were not paid a $15 million ransom.

On February 22, 2015, MTPD received a bomb threat against Metrobus 7130 from a caller who advised that an individual wearing “all black clothing” and glasses had threatened to blow up the bus and was brandishing an AS-50 sniper rifle. The caller advised that the bus was near the Capitol.

On May 12, 2015, the caller claimed that someone had approached his nephew and told him that he/she was planning to blow up the Metro station.

In another 911 hoax call, a violent threat was conveyed against a Metrobus in the District of Columbia. The bus was stopped, evacuated and an innocent citizen who matched the lookout given by the caller was detained, questioned and frisked.

On April 14, 2015, the caller told a 911 dispatcher that a bomb had been placed at the McPherson Square Metro station, and that there was a bomb at the White House.

On May 5, 2015, the caller claimed that he had received information that certain individuals were planning to blow up a bus at the Potomac Avenue Metro station.

Lil Mo Reveals DMV ‘Catfish’ Star is Her Estranged Former Stepson!

Rolling Out reported that Lil Mo has certainly had more than her fair share of drama when it comes to reality TV thanks to her starring role on “R&B Divas L.A.” But the diva recently found herself in drama of a new kind involving MTV’s “Catfish” when she revealed that one of its most infamous new stars is her estranged former stepson.

One of the most popular figures to show up this season was rapper-producer Kidd Cole (real name Jerez Coleman), who claimed to be signed to Kanye West’s label and has scammed multiple people out of money.

Even more shocking though was Lil Mo’s revelation that Coleman is the biological son of her ex-husband, Gus Stone, who also fathered Mo’s daughters, Heaven and God’Iss-Love.
“Big shoutout to MY “estranged” SON!! @colepushaz! i cannot sit here and LOL and point fingers at a young man that has the SAME FATHER as my daughters heaven and Godiss love. i saw the MTV special “Catfish” and my heart was saddened,” Mo wrote in an Instagram post after seeing the episode.

Recently, Mo opened up to TheJasmineBrand.com about Coleman and claimed that she still sees him as her daughters’ brother. Mo also claimed that Coleman is not a bad guy; he’s just a kid who grew up without a family or proper guidance.
“Kidd Cole never lived with us. He lived seven minutes away from us in Anne Arundel County in Maryland. I saw him riding a bike in a neighborhood where my parents and I owned a home. I told my ex to stop the car I saw a boy that looked like Jerez. He pulled up to the car startled and said, ‘Hi daddy.’ My heart dropped as we had NO contact; just child support payments, that I made out of my personal account. I never saw him again after that until I found him on IG and saw him on ‘Catfish,’” Mo explained.

Mo says that she was surprised to see him on “Catfish” and even more surprised when she asked Coleman’s father about him.
“I was very surprised. I had heard he was producing and working with Jaden Smith. When I asked his father was it true, he replied that he was crazy,” Mo said.
Mo explained that when she was partially in Coleman’s life, his father refused to properly take care of him.
“I don’t know their situation now. But when I was married to his father, the child support payments went to D.C. I paid them, because his dad wouldn’t pay them for reasons that I do not even want to repeat. Those payments also helped him restore his driver’s license and kept him out of jail,” said Mo.

Mo went on to warn fans of the show not to judge Coleman because his life has been harder than any reality TV camera could show.
“Kidd Cole could be any one of our children. While he is still alive, God bless him and pray that the big break I know he deserves, it be granted,” Mo said. – nicholas robinson
