In Celeb Drama Celebrity News JCole Kendrick Lamar New Music Say what?

Is a Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Collaboration Coming Soon?

The anticipation is real and if Kendrick Lamar’s sister Kayla accidentally spilled the tea - who am I not to take a sip.

A Kendrick Lamar and J-Cole Joint Collaboration Coming February 16th?

If you’ll recall, Cole teased on “Black Friday” that something was coming in February. He rapped, “When you and K. Dot shit dropping?” B*tch never, they can’t handle two Black n*ggas this clever…But this February, bet sh*t get scary when I f*ck around and drop…” That highly anticipated joint album?

Soon after the two rappers broke the Internet on Friday, Kendrick’s sister Kayla spilled on Facebook that her brother and Cole’s collab will be dropping February 16. “Go checkout my brother @kendricklamar song “Black Friday” gift to you guys. It’s definitely some [fire emoji] as usual!,” she wrote before deleting the post. You won’t regret it, I promise! Collab drop #Feb16 so be on the lookout as well.

It actually makes alot of sense if these 2 drop  right in the middle of Black History Month and on my Momma's Birthday. (Source)

Snoop Dogg Aint Happy About Billboard’s “10 Greatest Rappers Of All Time” List

Uncle Snoop Dogg wasn't too pleased when Billboard released their "10 Greatest Rappers of All Time" list.

The highly acclaimed music publication ranked the top ten G.O.A.T. emcees as follows:
  1. The Notorious B.I.G.
  2. Jay Z
  3. Eminem
  4. Rakim
  5. Nas
  6. Andre 3000
  7. Lauryn Hill
  8. Ghostface Killah
  9. Kendrick Lamar
  10. Lil Wayne
Billboard provided the following explanation for why the selections were chosen:
Diehard fans, music nerds and critics love lists. But in rap, rankings like this take on a special level of import: aside from moving a crowd (shouts to Rakim), MC means proving you’re the best. In no other genre do artists so blatantly express their desire to outdo competition.
That made Billboard’s editorial list a more high-stakes undertaking than usual. Many favorites — Kane, Drake, KRS — didn’t make it, and each of those omissions hurts deep down. Note: we’re ranking these folks as MCs, not artists.
That’s why Dr. Dre and Kanye West, for example, two legendary producer-rappers who don’t match the mic skills of those listed here, were left out. Even Tupac, perhaps the most influential rapper ever globally, is arguably known more for great songwriting than dominant bars.
Uncle Snoop quickly took to Instagram to blast the list not for omitting himself from the list but the fact they failed to include TUPAC.

I must agree with Uncle Snoop - Biggie and Pac should be holding down the number 1 spot together. Period.
