Pusha T Is Now The President Of G.O.O.D. Music

A HUGE congratulations are in order for rapper, Pusha-T. I just received word that he will be the president of G.O.O.D. Music.

How did that happen?
Pusha-T explains to Billboard.Com that he was flying home and  had just got into my car at the airport. ‘Ye had called me and he was like, “Tell me something. What do you think about being the president of G.O.O.D. Music?” And I was like, “Well, what are the things that you’re looking for?” And he was basically just like, to manicure the label, make it profitable and be very business-oriented about it going forward in a manicured type of way.

The interviewer went on to ask...

In a perfect world, what would G.O.O.D. Music look like to you in the next five months?

I just look at capitalizing on everything that I feel like G.O.O.D. Music brings to the music industry, our following, and the culture. First of all, we have incredible artists. It’s definitely about getting those albums out in a very manicured fashion. We have great artistic talent that sort of walk the lines of bringing that excitement back in regards to just the art that goes along with it like DONDA, the merch and things like that. Things that kids are really into these days.

You see how fashion takes over and these pop-up shops take over and how the music business is a real touring business now, just the things associated with it. Just building it out to make sure that everybody on the label is really capitalizing off of all the assets that really come with GOOD Music, that we really started, that we’ve really been good at. Just really executing all the different avenues of music, art, culture and fashion as well.

Did TI Part Ways with Iggy Azalea?

Has rapper Clifford "T.I." Harris finally came to his sense when he ended his business relationship with Australian wanna-be-rapper Iggy Azalea after three years?

There comes a time in everyones life that you must simply - Shut the Fu** Up - Period.
If +Iggy Azalea followed that small advice she could've been a decent Pop-star.

"I’m loyal partner and If I rock with you I rock with you. Right or wrong. We’ll discuss that later in the car. But right now, I’ma block the bullets, but when I say go…go. Just go. Don’t stand around and talk while I’m blocking bullets. I just feel “they” [Iggy’s team] needed some time to adjust,” Bossip reported.

Clearly Iggy was a bit blindside by the news.

“She didn’t know there was a problem since T.I. is still collecting publishing checks and acting like everything is normal between them.”

Iggy immediately hopped on Twitter to defend herself against the blacklash she recieved by getting dumped from Hustle Gang's Capo.

Heres the deal, I am still signed to @tip and do business with him. The first ive heard of us having an "issue" is via a radio interview.

Personally, i dont think the radio is the place to talk about your personal issues with someone thats part of your team...

— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 17, 2015

He seems to think theres nothing wrong with what he said, everybody else seems to disagree.

— IGGY AZALEA (@IGGYAZALEA) September 17, 2015

Im sure tip will publicly clarify what he meant when he feels he has the right platform to do so and other than that, im chillin.

Another One Bites the Dust: Bow Wow Leaves Cash Money

As I stated when I posted: Is Nothing is Promised at YMCMB?

First Busta Rhymes, then Mystikal, and now...

Shad "Bow Wow" Moss just announced he is leaving Cash Money Records, after only five years signed to the label. He posted the video below to his Facebook, and he was quick to clarify: "This is a peaceful situation."

Making it very clear that there is no bad blood (no pun intended) towards  Cash Money, or Birdman,  he even went as far as to thank them for signing him in the first place.
"I wanna dictate when my music comes out. I'm tired of going to the studio to make records and then I listen to them. 'Cuz they get old... I just can't be held up by nobody. It's as simple as that."

He also was clear to announce that his rap career is far from over and that he is working with Snoop Dogg and Jermaine Dupri. "Now that I have both of them in cahoots with each other, this is only gonna make my new situation even more monumental."

Check out the video below:
