Just when I thought that Beyonce, Jay-Z and Solange would remain tight lipped about the altercation / @ss whippin' Solange put on Jay-Z they broke under pressure and released the following statement:
“As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it,” the statement said.
“Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”“
The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false,” the statement continued. “At the end of the day families have problems and we’re no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We’ve put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same.”ForeverMeah says...
Geesh, the Carter's must have got in contact with Olivia Pope to put this scandal to rest. Oh and the security guard that sold the video of the fight - she's fired and will more than likely be sued by the hotel she once worked.
On to other news, Solange is rumored to appear on Saturday Night Live this weekend...and JayZ has agreed to be the best man in Kanye's wedding. I'm over the elevator fight because unlike most of the celebrity drama the Carter's only let you know what they want you to know - so on that note - tour tickets are now on sale, right Bey? :)
