TMZ reports that the Chicago rapper Chief Keef was scheduled to perform at a breast cancer benefit concert in Cleveland called RapCure. His fee for the show was $25,000. He was reportedly paid $15,000 in advance. The remaining$10,000 was to be paid on the day of the June 2013 event.
Keef, real name Keith Cozart, asked for and received an additional $2500 for travel expenses the day before the show. His agent assured the company bankrolling the event that he was on the way. But he failed to appear.
Kim Productions had to cancel the show and refund fans their ticket money. KP is suing Keef for $26,000. That includes the cost of the refunded tickets, the money advanced to the rapper, advertisement, lights, equipment and the fee to rent out the theater.
I'm more puzzled by the fact they actually booked Chief Keef for a Breast Cancer Benefits Concert.
Righ, Chief Keef?
