#NewMusic: Big Sean to Naya Rivera: I Don't F*** With You
Posted on
I've been waiting all month for this diss-track, rightfully named "I Don't F*** With You". Looks like rapper Big Sean felt some type of way when ex-girlfriend Naya Rivera suddenly married right after their breakup.
The song was produced by Kanye West -- as Big Sean took direct shots by calling his ex a ho, a bird brain, and stating "I just dodged a bullet from a crazy bitch."
Here's the track:

Chris Brown Addresses Relationship with Drake
Posted on Friday, September 12, 2014
Chris Brown’s sat down with Sway of MTV News on Thursday (September 11), and opened up about his relationship with Drake and how their EPSY skit came about.
MTV reported,
“[Drake's] camp actually called me to do the skit. Especially after getting out of jail, I didn’t have any animosity towards anybody,” he said.
“I wanted to be able to bring light to the situation and just grow up. I’m 25 and I’m not getting younger. You can’t walk around holding grudges, looking over your shoulder and being negative all the time. I’m tired of being looked at as the aggressor, so I just wanted to show my maturity.”
Breezy explained that he and Drake didn’t have a very formal conversation to patch things up — and, no, Rihanna didn’t come up. They simply acknowledged that it was time to leave their differences in the past.
“We’re young, so it’s not like [we had] a pow wow over tea or nothing,” he told MTV News’ Sway Calloway. It didn’t need to be explained. It wasn’t no problem.”
Unfortunately, Breezy’s album X was already completed, and wasn’t able to get Drake on the album, however, the two are still trying to make music together.
“Working on music is something we’re gonna continuously try to do and make happen,” he revealed. “I know it’ll be a big thing for the fans if they hear a song –- but it has to be the right song, for both of us, at the end of the day.”

#WatchThis: ‘ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta’s Rise in the Rap Game’

The VH1 documentary ‘ATL: The Untold Story of Atlanta’s Rise in the Rap Game’ aired September 2nd and if you missed it you missed alot.
The show not only went through the musical history of Atlanta, it was also a Black History lesson in that the hip-hop explosion that occurred in our city also coincided with Atlanta’s civil rights legacy.
The documentary is different in that it touches on the city’s meager, mostly overlooked hip-hop beginnings and pays well-deserved homage to frequently overlooked early musical contributors like MC Shy D, Kilo Ali, Raheem the Dream, King Edward J., Arnell Star and more. (Source: Straightfromthea)

Jay-Z's ex and R&B Singer Blu Cantrell was caught running through the streets, screaming people trying to kill her last night ... until police took her into custody for psychological evaluation ... TMZ reported.
Cantrell went seemingly berserk in a Santa Monica neighborhood around 2 AM on Wednesday. Witnesses tell us she was screaming about someone giving her "poisonous gas." The episode went on long enough that someone called police.
We're told when officers arrived, Blu -- famous for her 2001 hit "Hit 'Em Up Style (Oops!)" -- played the "do you know who I am card" ... but also referred to herself as a "one hit wonder."
Law enforcement sources tell us cops took Blu to a nearby hospital where doctors checked her out. We're attempting to reach a rep to get an update on Blu's condition, but so far ... no luck.

TMZ reported, Kendrick Lamar is a musical thief who blatantly ripped off another song to create his hit, "Rigamortis" ... at least according to two musicians who are suing him for at least $1 million.
Eric Reed and Willie Jones III claim they came up with a song called "The Thorn" in 2010 that features an infectious rhythm and commanding horns ... the very same music heard in Lamar's "Rigamortis."
In their lawsuit ... they say Lamar took their music, and simply added his own lyrics. They say "The Thorn" isn't merely part of "Rigamortis" ... IT IS "Rigamortis."
Reed and Jones say even though "Rigamortis" basically made Lamar a star ... he never gave them a dime or even credit for the music.
They're now suing Lamar for at least a mil, plus all 'Rigamortis' profits and rights to the song.
Here's the infamous track they say Kendrick ripped off:

Snoop has a few choice words to my former Boss - Troi 'STAR' Torain from Shot97.
It all started when Snoop Dogg’s white alter ego Todd appeared on his Instagram.
“He’s now painting his face white, wearing a white wig, running around calling himself Todd,” said Star on WWPR-FM.
“Nigga, what the fuck are you doing? People are down in motherfucking Ferguson, Missouri; this is the pulse of the nation right now. He picks this time to come out with some stupid shit. He’s got some corny people around him, amping him up, smiling.”
After hearing his rant the Dogg Father took to Instagram to set Star straight. In a video said, “I read that comment you said. I’ll beat your mother fucking ass nigga. Don’t be talking shit about me. You don’t even know me cuz. I can have fun. I can do what the fuck I wanna do, you bitch ass nigga. Suck dick or die trying.”
