Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper +Snoop Dogg, has decided to part ways with the UCLA football team.
+UCLA Bruins head coach Jim Mora confirmed Friday that Broadus, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound true freshman wide receiver, decided to step away from the game to "pursue other passions in his life."
"Cordell informed me yesterday that he has decided to pursue other passions in his life - in particular his love of film through his company Film School Productions," Mora said in a statement. "Cordell is an amazing young man with many talents, and we wish him nothing but the best as he continues to pursue his degree at UCLA."According to Scout.com, which first reported the news, Broadus did not report to preseason camp when it began on Monday.
