Jay Z Tweets in Defense of Tidal as rumors buzz about Tdal is tanking:
Jigga took to Twitter (so you know it’s real) to shut down rumors that the streaming service is faltering. “Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month,” he typed, starting off a lengthy run of Tweets on the company’s stature.
Last week, when Kanye West reportedly erased some tweets in support of Tidal and the app fell out of the top 750 in the iTunes app store, people started to speculate whether status of the company was solid. According to the Brooklyn rap mogul, another rival company might have spread rumors about Tidal’s downfall.
“There are many big companies that are spending millions on a smear campaign. We are not anti-anyone, we are pro-artist & fan,” he posted. “Our actions will speak louder than words,” he later added.
“We made Tidal to bring people the best experiences…” Hov says.
Check out what Hov had to say below:

The iTunes Store wasn't built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful…

@S_C_ How many of those are actual paying subscribers and not people who signed up for the free trial?

“@S_C_: We are here for the long haul. Please give us a chance to grow & get better. #TidalFacts” How about no

Don't hold y'all breath waiting for Jay Z to hashtag anything other than #TidalFacts. He doesn't even go back home to Marcy Projects.

Its disingenuous of @S_C_ to say Tidal has been in biz for 1 month. It was Tidal & WiMP b4 u relaunched. #TidalFacts

ForeverMeah says... Jay should have given these facts during the Tidal Press Conference to avoid all this backlash.
