Remember later that year when Missy performed with Ciara at aBET event and it seemed like she was going to release a new album … and she didn’t? Remember last year when she did guest vocals for a new song by Fantasia and it seemed like she was going to … well, you know.
Well, today we hear from Missy herself the reasons why she hasn’t put out a new record in 9 years. From her perspective, she just hasn’t put together the perfect album for her fans yet so … until she does so, there will be no new album. (source)
